We will see students back at school on Thursday, January 4, 2018! Report cards for Quarter 2 will be sent home Friday, January 5, 2018. Permission slips for the field trip to the Atlanta History Center (on January 16th) need to be returned by January 5th. Our classroom Holiday Party will be Monday, December 18, from 1:00-2:00pm. Please donate any snacks you wish to share on Monday! Please return permission slips and $6 for our next field trip to Atlanta History Center, on January 16th. The class with the BEST attendance tonight at the Holiday Performance wins pizza in the class!
Holiday Performance: 6:30-8:00pm; please arrive by 6:15pm. Parents can enter to win a holiday ham for free! Homework: 1) Spelling: WTW Sort and spell quiz--SORT 18. 2) Math: Divide fractions by whole numbers, activity page 1, #1-18. Homework:
"What's In Your Suitcase?" Project is due tomorrow, December 8th! 1) Science: Read pages 144-147, and answer 2 questions on the index card (pages 145 and 147). Write the questions, and the answers on the card. 2) Math: Volume 2: Line plots, page 847, #3, 4, 5. 3) Spelling: WTW Sort 17 QUIZ Please continue bringing in the field trip permission slips for our next field trip to the Atlanta History Center, on January 16, 2018. :)
Homework: 1) Spelling: WTW Sort 17 cloze quiz 2) Social Studies: "What's in Your Suitcase?" project is due this Friday, December 8th! Tomorrow is our field trip to the Atlanta Symphony at Lassiter High School! Please wear your red class t-shirt OR a red or black shirt so our students are easy to find at the concert. :)
Homework: 1) Math: Review Multiplication of fractions on pages 755 (2 questions) and 756 (5 questions), in Volume 2. There is no homework tonight if you have finished your responses to the "I Have a Dream" questions.
