Happy Friday to everyone in Panther Nation at Powers Ferry!
I apologize for not keeping up with my blog this week. My committee organized Turkey Bingo for last night, Thursday, November 21st, so my afternoons got busy. We had an amazing night, giving away nearly 100 turkeys, 20 pies, and 10 gift cards. We have also been busy in the Learning Commons during the week. Students have been researching immigration from the 1700s-1800s for informational writing. We have been turning our results into green screen videos, with photos from the timer period displayed behind the students. They have been rehearsing their presentations, and we are recording their videos today with Ms. Culbertson. We are taking our Spelling Lesson 15 test today. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Week with your families. I count each one of my students as a blessing in my life. I love teaching, and helping them level up in their learning. Thank you for supporting me during this school year, so these children can truly be their best! Happy Monday!
*Turkey BINGO is this Thursday night, starting at 6:30pm. We have so many turkeys and pies for you to win! Please join us. 1 BINGO card for $3.00 or 2 BINGO cards for $5.00.
