These packets really boost your grades!! Turn them in on time! When you study, ask yourself to define what each word means, and what the opposite meaning is. 2) Writing: a) Grammar practice on kinds of sentences, p. 31 of packet. b) Spelling Lesson 8 Test is Friday, 10/4; packet is due too! Parent Meeting with Dr. Jones @5:30pm Thursday; STEM @ 6:30pm.

Today was the last day of IOWA testing, so your child may be a little more tired than usual tonight. They worked hard across the subject areas to show what they already know. Results should come back in October.
Homework: 1) Reading: Students took vocabulary tests today, but their packets are due tomorrow. *We have been working hard in class to make inferences based on the text, "Esperanza Rising." 2) Spelling: Spelling Week 6 test, and packet is due, tomorrow. *We talked about the 19th anniversary of the September 11th attacks today. Students may be asking you where you were that day, and what you remember.
