Today we talked about Kobe Bryant, his basketball legacy, and a poem he wrote called: "Dear Basketball." We compared how the poem's impact from how we read the text aloud, to the video of Kobe Bryant reading the poem aloud. We talked abut our feelings, and how we could be inspired to find our passion and never quit reaching for our dreams.
We also did research to begin the final steps of creating BranPop Movies on famous leaders of WWII. Students will be finishing and presenting their movies next week. Homework: Reading: Continue studying vocabulary week 17 words for a test this Thursday, 1/30. Students have until Friday to turn in classwork. Language Arts: We will start working on contractions in sentences tomorrow. Students received Week 21 words for spelling; the list is under the "Spelling" tab. Comments are closed.
