Hello, 5th graders! Wow! Everyone did really well with the volume of 3-D figures today. It was great to see you make connections during our review of transcontinental railroad and the Black Cowboys and cattle trails, in social studies.
No classwork for practice today; please go to Clever and practice your math facts on Dreambox--you can find information on Ms. Alston's blog: https://matman01.weebly.com/ There are some yearbooks available for purchase for $12 through mypaymentsplus.com. They can be picked up on Tuesday, 5/19 or Wednesday, 5/20 (see below). Here is information for the last few days: Wednesday, May 13: online virtual lessons from 9:00-10:30am. Thursday, May 14: online virtual lessons from 9:00-10:30am. Friday, May 15: optional video for Virtual Talent Show due by 5:00pm. Monday, May 18: online virtual lessons from 9:00-10:30/Virtual Talent Show video. This is the last day online. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 and 20: Teachers will be at Powers Ferry. Students may come to Powers Ferry to pick up personal items from classrooms; pre-ordered yearbooks; pre-ordered Spring pictures; personal medication from school clinic. Please come by last name: A-K: 9:00-10:00am L-S: 10:00-11:00am T-Z: 11:00am-12:00pm Thursday, May 21: 5th Grade Acknowledgement Car Parade around Powers Ferry (see the map in the post from 5/11 or on the Powers Ferry website, at 12:00pm!
