Hello, 5th graders! We had a review of the involvement of the United States in WWI and WWII, and why the presidents did not want to join either war at first. We played a Kahoot review game. We also continued to practice determining volume of 3-D figures with and without cubes, with Ms. Alston. You really remembered a lot--wow! Way to go! Here are the dates for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year: Friday, May 15: optional video for Virtual Talent Show due by 5:00pm (see link and flyer below). Monday, May 18: online virtual review games from 9:00-10:30/Virtual Talent Show video, and viewing pictures from field trips and recess. This is the last day online. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 and 20: Teachers will be at Powers Ferry. Students may come to Powers Ferry to pick up personal items from classrooms; pre-ordered yearbooks; pre-ordered Spring pictures; personal medication from school clinic. Please come by last name: A-K: 9:00-10:00am L-S: 10:00-11:00am T-Z: 11:00am-12:00pm Thursday, May 21: Celebrating our amazing 5th graders! 5th Grade Acknowledgement Car Parade around Powers Ferry (see the map in the post from 5/11 or on the Powers Ferry website), at 12:00pm!
